Through creativity, collaboration, and community engagement, the project creates a platform for long-term positive development for families with children\u2014especially those facing challenges in Swedish society.<\/p><p data-start=\"409\" data-end=\"473\">The project includes several engaging and meaningful components:<\/p><p data-start=\"475\" data-end=\"616\"><strong data-start=\"475\" data-end=\"495\">Recycling Crafts<\/strong> in collaboration with @mindfulnesshomemalmo \u2013 where children and adults create with care for both heart and environment.<\/p><p data-start=\"618\" data-end=\"812\"><strong data-start=\"618\" data-end=\"638\">Recycled Fashion<\/strong> in collaboration with the African Women and Youth Association \u2013 a creative initiative where old clothes are transformed into beautiful prom dresses for high school students.<\/p><p data-start=\"814\" data-end=\"944\"><strong data-start=\"814\" data-end=\"831\">Dance &amp; Music<\/strong> \u2013 Afro Step dance and the creation of instruments from recycled materials bring both joy of movement and rhythm.<\/p><p data-start=\"946\" data-end=\"1076\"><strong data-start=\"946\" data-end=\"969\">Sustainable Cooking<\/strong> \u2013 we cook delicious, environmentally friendly meals together and collect our recipes in a shared cookbook.<\/p><p data-start=\"1078\" data-end=\"1212\"><strong data-start=\"1078\" data-end=\"1103\">Community Information<\/strong> \u2013 through Afroswedes, participants receive guidance to strengthen their knowledge and engagement in society.<\/p><p data-start=\"1214\" data-end=\"1364\"><strong data-start=\"1214\" data-end=\"1232\">APRIL 28, 2026<\/strong>, we celebrate the highlight \u2013 the grand finale of Kulturkalas, where we showcase and celebrate everything we have created together!<\/p><p data-start=\"1366\" data-end=\"1554\">Everything is free of charge, and everyone is welcome to co-create\u2014regardless of background, age, or experience. The project takes the audience on a journey through West African music and storytelling, where the traditional instrument <strong data-start=\"425\" data-end=\"433\">kora<\/strong>\u2014a harp-like lute with 21 strings\u2014plays a central role.<\/p><p data-start=\"490\" data-end=\"837\"><strong data-start=\"490\" data-end=\"521\">The Snake and the Excavator<\/strong> is a family performance aimed at both children and adults. In this interactive show, children and their parents are encouraged to participate by singing, dancing, and becoming part of the living story. Music, movement, and storytelling are woven together to create a magical and educational experience for all ages.<\/p><p data-start=\"839\" data-end=\"1208\">We are grateful to have received support from the Cultural Administration in Malm\u00f6 to carry out this project, and we have had the opportunity to perform at several libraries and cultural centers across Malm\u00f6. As part of the performance, the audience is invited to participate through song and dance, and to playfully suggest movements that may help the bird find its voice. Only with their help can the bird truly discover it. The project also includes a dance performance featuring the children, as well as an art exhibition of their work, including recycled crafts and paintings.<\/p><p data-start=\"398\" data-end=\"598\">During the day, there will also be face painting, creative workshops, and opportunities for visitors to paint. The event will take place at Mobilia on October 5, and the venue is preliminarily booked.<\/p><p data-start=\"600\" data-end=\"819\"><strong data-start=\"600\" data-end=\"612\">Purpose:<\/strong><br data-start=\"612\" data-end=\"615\" \/>The aim of the project is to develop children\u2019s creativity, fine motor skills, artistic expression, stage performance abilities, logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and capacity for collaboration.<\/p><p data-start=\"821\" data-end=\"1130\">By using the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child\u2014particularly Articles 2, 3, 6, and 12\u2014we strive to involve both children and adults, including families, in raising awareness of children\u2019s rights.
